I think food, water, and probiotics are the key to having minimal side effects. (Don't take it at the same time, as the pill will just kill the good bacteria too). (3-4 16oz water bottles.) I also drank little probiotic yogurt drinks a few hours after I'd take the med. One reason I think I only had minimal side effects is because I made sure to eat before I took the pill, and then drank a lot of water throughout the day. However, the side effects are very tolerable, just very annoying too. No side effects except some fatigue and extreme night sweats for a couple days. Especially because of the overwhelming negative reviews! :o But I am glad I decided to take it. I am only 27 and I already have a ton of other medical problems and take a bunch of other meds, so I was afraid to take this at first. 100mg 2x daily for 5 days for klebsiella pneumoniae UTI. ![]()
